Thursday, June 23, 2022, Traditional territory of multiple Indigenous nations, including the Haudenosaunee and the treaty territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit/Toronto, ON — Vancity Community Investment Bank (VCIB) today announced the appointment of Jennifer Hutcheon as Vice President, VCIB. In this newly created role, Jennifer will join the senior leadership team of Vancity, VCIB’s parent company, and will report to Christine Bergeron, CEO of the Vancity Group.
VCIB uses the tools of finance to drive immediate and lasting social and environmental change. As Vice President, Jennifer will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy to build upon VCIB’s growth in the areas of commercial and business banking, social purpose real estate, and climate finance.

Starting on July 18, Jennifer brings over 23 years of financial leadership experience to Vancity. Most recently, Jennifer was the Vice President, Loan Operations and Customer Relations at Infrastructure Ontario where she oversaw the loan administration, business development, and grant management activities associated with the Infrastructure Ontario loan program. Jennifer honed her lending-specific experience at Equitable Bank, Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company, and Northern Birch Credit Union.
